My Diablo 3 character progress so far.

Favorite classes, in order: Wizard, Demon Hunter, Witch Doctor, Monk, Barbarian. Barbarian’s are just never fun to play, well not for me anyway. I don’t like just running in and punching things in their demon throats. Some things don’t even have throats, so what am I suppose to do then you ask? Furiously shout to make myself stronger. Barbarians think they’re in DBZ or something.

The Witch Doctor really surprised me though. The way he is playing right now is just genius. I flick jars of spiders at enemies, then throw burning bats at their faces. How is that not awesome.

Fat/lazy guy at work claimed that the Demon Hunter was a very boring class, but I disagree. I had a good time playing it. It was a bit slow starting out, but I found a nice combination of skills I enjoyed to use, and stuck to them.

Haven’t really played much of the monk.. but honestly, the 3 minutes I did play was a hell of a lot more fun then the barb.

And finally, the Wizard. By far my favorite class (usually in any game ever, Diablo 3 is no exception). I felt like it was waaaay over powered, but it’s hard to say with just a beta. The real test of a character is blowing through all of the Acts that this game with launch at the players.

YUP.

Time to play some more Starbase Orion and then sleep.
